Getting Started

Accessing Your Account

  1. Navigate to the Maestro-TA login page
  2. Enter your student credentials (provided by your professor)
  3. You'll be redirected to the Student Dashboard

Student Dashboard

The dashboard shows your submissions, grades, and provides access to tutoring.

Dashboard Overview

  • Statistics: Total Submissions, Graded, Pending
  • Graded Submissions: All your graded exams with detailed feedback
  • Pending Submissions: Exams waiting to be graded

Viewing Graded Submissions

Accessing Your Grades

  1. From dashboard, find your submission in "Graded Submissions"
  2. Click "View Results" button
  3. Review overall score, per-question breakdown, and detailed feedback

Understanding Your Grades

Score Breakdown

  • Overall Score: Total points earned / Total points possible
  • Per-Question Scores: Individual scores for each question
  • Partial Credit: Points awarded for partially correct answers

Score Intervals

Maestro-TA uses multiple AI engines. You may see a score range showing possible scores (e.g., 85-90%).

  • Narrow range (87-88%) = High confidence, clear answer
  • Wide range (75-90%) = Lower confidence, may indicate ambiguous answer

Personalized Tutoring (RPDT)

What is RPDT?

Recursive Prerequisite Descent Tutor (RPDT) is an AI-powered tutoring system that:

  • • Identifies concepts you're struggling with
  • • Finds prerequisite knowledge you need
  • • Guides you through prerequisite concepts step-by-step
  • • Builds back up to the original problem

How to Access Tutoring

  1. 1. View a graded submission

  3. 3. Click "Get Help" or "Start Tutoring"
